Meet Captain Matt

You enjoy the day.
Matt takes the helm.

A private charter should give you time with your guests. Captain Matt’s role is to balance your harbour preferences with the practical decisions that make a cruise work: navigation, conditions and suitable stopping places.

Tell the team what matters most—a birthday lunch, the Opera House outlook or a possible swim—and we’ll discuss a plan aboard Life’s Good. The route remains flexible so the skipper can respond to conditions. If having Matt aboard is important, ask us to confirm the staffing for your date.

Private Sydney Harbour boat hire, explained

More than a sightseeing ticket.
A day that belongs to your group.

When you book a private charter, your guests share the boat rather than joining a scheduled departure with other groups. Life’s Good is a 40ft powered catamaran for up to 25 guests, with a skipper and crew operating the vessel. It is a social setting for celebrations, family time and smaller work gatherings, not a self-drive hire.

The aft deck and elevated flybridge give you different spaces to enjoy the harbour. Choose BYO food and drinks or discuss catering, then agree any BBQ and serving arrangements before departure. The right choice depends on how much preparation you want to do and the kind of meal your group expects.

A useful itinerary starts with one or two priorities. Visiting friends may want the Opera House and Harbour Bridge; a relaxed gathering may prefer more time for lunch near a suitable bay. Your wharf, charter duration and conditions influence the route. Swimming and the mat can be discussed, but depend on the skipper’s assessment.

Request a quote that covers the actual day you want: date, numbers, duration, wharves, food and extras. Confirm the payment requirements and booking terms before committing. An enquiry does not reserve the boat, and a location on this website is not automatically a pickup point or a guaranteed stop.
